Supporting Mission

Clen-Moore Presbyterian Church supports many missions locally and around the world as week seek to follow our Lord’s command. Here are just a few:

5 Star Global Ministry (Autumn Marshall)

Clen-Moore is thrilled to support Autumn Marshall, Cofounder and Director of Therapy and Outreach at 5 Star Global Ministry. 5 Star works to empower families, caretakers, and locals to provide Christ-centered disability care while training and educating nationals to provide disability advocacy in under-developed countries. She currently serves in Haiti.

1-2-1 Mentoring (formerly Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Cray Youth & Family Services)

Clen-Moore has been a strong supporter of Cray Youth & Family Services since 2009. We have provided monetary support and have given of our time and talents through active participation in their Big Brothers/ Big Sisters program (now called 1-2-1 Mentoring).

Alpha Omega Center (formerly Pregnancy Crisis Center)

The Alpha Omega Center provides services that meet the emotional, physical, and spiritual needs of abortion-minded and abortion-vulnerable clients. Their vision is to see a community where life is cherished from conception to natural death. Therefore they offer numerous services that help women learn about all of their options and are educated thoroughly before making a decision.

Caleb International Ministries

The mission is to serve the Body of Christ as a Para-Church Ministry, crossing religious and cultural borders open to diversity within denominations, communities and nations. The primary target population is “serving those who serve” and includes Church Leaders, Pastors, Missionaries, Elders/Deacons, Directors of Ministries, etc. They are serving in India primarily. The Executive minister is Rev. Louis LaGotta.

Camp Lambec

The Camping Association of the Presbyteries of Northwest Pennsylvania operates Camp Lambec serving the youth in the Presbyteries of Beaver/Butler, Kiskiminetas, Lake Erie, and Shenango, which are part of the Synod of the Trinity.

Church Community Assistance Program

The Church Community Assistance Program exists to provide financial support for local residents meeting essential needs like shelter, rent/utilities, food, etc. Clen-Moore is one of several churches involved making this program possible.

Crisis Shelter of Lawrence County

The Crisis Shelter of Lawrence County empowers and advocates for those affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, and other violent crimes. They inspire and educate citizens to create safer communities and break the cycle of violence.

CRU (Northwestern PA Chapter with Randy and Megan Veccia)

CRU is a national and international ministry that seeks to help students come to know Jesus, grow in their faith, then go to their families, their communities & all over the world to tell others about God’s love. Most people know of CRU as a college campus ministry, but they also have programs serving cities, inner city youth, military, athletes, families, and more. The New Castle, PA area is home to several colleges, where Randy and Megan work as missionaries for CRU.

Dominican Republic Mission

Since 2007, Clen-Moore has been involved with several other Western PA and Ohio churches in a partnership with La Iglesia Evangelica Dominicana in the Dominican Republic. In addition to providing funding for Christian school scholarships and needed medications, we have had church members participate in the annual trip to the DR with emphases on provision of medical clinics, medical and therapy home visits, scholarship program implementation, teacher education, youth and elementary VBS, and construction projects throughout the community. Watch for dates for the next trip, which is usually in the springtime.

Frontier Fellowship

Frontier Fellowship is part of a network of ministries that represent compassion and love and hope to those who have yet to hear the gospel of Jesus with new staff exploring opportunities in Southeast Asia and East Asia. Clen-Moore works with Denise Scuito as our representative.

Joshua & Terrilynn Pacella

Joshua and Terrilyn Pacella serve with World Impact. They and their 3 children currently reside in Cochabamba, Bolivia. Fundacion Esperanza manages four orphanages. Josh (AKA Sal) works in administration and Terrilyn is involved with all four orphanages.

Lawrence County Youth Ministries

Lawrence County Youth Ministries partners with churches and the community to connect teenagers to Jesus Christ and His Church.

New Castle Christian Academy

New Castle Christian Academy is an interdenominational Christian school that offers an excellent academic program in a Christian atmosphere to the children of our community during their formative years.

Pine Valley Camp

In 1991 Mathew and Susan Reichert felt a call to serve inter-city youth and rebuild broken lives through Jesus Christ and reach out to a variety of communities in and around Pittsburgh and neighboring states. In 1995 they began providing residential camping to those youth. Clen-Moore youth have become involved in this mission and our church has been supportive of the camp for several years.
